This apparatus helps evaluate an elementary psychomotor skill. While using a metal-tipped stylus, the subjects task is to tap, as rapidly as possible, the two fixed 3.5 inch square plates at each end of an 18 inch board. A timer / counter, such as the Model 58024C Silent Impulse Counter, can be used for data collection.
